alright so i got money saved for a motor and it was between a ca18det or a sr20det but then my dad say get the ca and build it up because it is cheaper and you will have money left over but it is kind of hard to find parts for it

so i need some opinions

This thread has a high potential to not end well...But before the engine wars begin, I say spend the money on sorting out the rest of the car so that it's not "rundown."

Power and cheap don't mixed.

Do some more research and find out more about the motors and make your judgment on that rather than asking people what motor you should get.

If you are deciding your motor based on what is cheaper, then you really shouldn't be getting either.

I'm not trying to sound harsh, I'm just trying to emphasize on researching because when you ask a question like "What is better?" you will most likely get some biased opinions.

got the perfect idea for you young jedi, Ok to start off buy a sr20det because it has a red valve cover and its way cooler, have you seen how much cooler the sr forums are compared to the ca forums, wait go with a ca they are sweet
