Has anyone purchased rotors from these guys? They claim to use Bradi blanks and then they're drilled/slotted in house. The price is right, but I don't want to skimp on brakes if the quality isn't there. Their return policy ($20 max) scares me, but I doubt anyone else is going to be really easy to deal with on brakes anyway...

I've searched and searched on other boards with no horror stories, but Q/J/G/I/M experience would be a better indication of how they'll perform.

Hi, Heath.

I have received my rotors from them for all four wheels some weeks back, but have not installed them yet. They look good. The machining appears to be well done, etc., but I have no road experience with them yet.

I got pads from Joe at Scottsdale, so I hope to get to the brake work soon - probably at some local dealer (I am not able to work on my car yet due to medical issues).

And, you are absolutely correct! The price is excellent. By the way, if you call them, then they will push to get you to buy pads too (price is pretty good though), but when ordering from the web site, this is not an issue. As I mentioned, I got OEM pads from Joe instead of the recommendation since I wanted to coninue to use the Infiniti sensors (not that I let pads get down to them!).

What did you guys pay for those rotors? Do you feel there better than the Stillen set Joe is selling?

Much lower cost. I forget the exact price difference, but it was about 50% lower than OEM Infiniti. And the Stillens from Joe are also expensive.

As to whether they work better, that is an unknown (for now).

I should also add that they claim to use a computer controlled milling/drilling machine to do the machining in order to get good results. I don't know whether this is true, but I can state that the machining looks clean. No metal burr's or unusual artifacts at all.

Of couse, it is possible to introduce invisible micro-cracks in the metal. If these Bradi rotors were not designed to prevent such cracking under the pressure of maching, then they may still have problems in the future, I suppose. Time will tell.

I've found that my PowerStop rotors are superior to OEM in resistance to warping (time between resurfacing) and I haven't had any cracking problems. I've been told that Powerstop uses a lot of Brembo rotor stock, and that Brembo and Bradi are sister companies (Bradi was one of four brothers and split off from the Brembo). This may all be a crock - seems like talking to used car dealers dealing with the rotor sales guys...

The price quote for all four Bradi drilled/slotted rotors from iRotors is $229 plus shipping. Best I found on Powerstop is $88ea ($352/set). Last time I priced OEM rotors was in 1999 and they were about $88ea. from Scottsdale.

I've been really happy with the PowerStop rotors, but the price difference is substantial... I keep changing my mind on what to order.

That's it! I now remember ... I paid $229 for the four rotors. As I said a while back in the other post, i went for the price, but have no idea of quality or whether they will work well. Will find out some time in the near future....

I was looking at that site and I found out they also sell rotors on ebay but the price from the website is $10 less. I found another auction on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33713 and was wondering what the difference between these 240sx rotors are and ones for the J/Q? Is there a size difference?
