I'm getting Denso Iridium plugs for my s13 sr20det swap. Should I get Stock heat range or 1 step colder. I will have a FMIC and will be boosting and 12 psi.

i believe over 17psi, depending on your turbo, is when you should drop a range

1 range isn't going to hurt anything, most DSM guys say it's a good idea above 14psi, but it really dosn't hurt under that as long as your not driving like a grandma at 7psi fouling the plugs out. IMHO if your gonna spend $40 on some plugs you might as well get some that have more potential.

Besides detonation is bad, so why not do everything you can to keep it to a minimum (esp. when pushing a small turbo harder than you should).
