I'm thinking of buying a Rogue that's quite a drive away, so I'm doing the deal online. It's an Iridium Graphite with black & red interior. I'm a little nervous because from the brochure it looks to be a sharp color that looks very metallic, but some of the photos on the website make it look more purple. Does anyone have photos of an Iridium Graphite model they could either post here or email to me?

I love the Iridium, that's what I'm getting too.

The one I test drove almost looked so Gray that you could barely see the purple color. In fact in the shade it just looked just plain old gray. So I think it depends on the batch and the lighting.

I confirmed this at my local dealership today. If you take a look at this website, it makes it seem like its a plum colour:

The only concern I had left was that the US models and Canadian models used different colours, but the pictures posted here and your accounts seem to indicate that they got their pallettes mixed up on the web site.

Thanks everyone!

I bought the iridium graphite the first day it came out last month. Initially I was planning on waiting for the Gotham Gray, but I loved the car so much I ended up taking the Iridium.

When we got to the dealership early afternoon, it was sunny and the car did have a subtle purple tint to it, although it has a lot of grey as well. As the sun went down a bit, it definately looked a lot more pewter, which I loved.

The color does vary throughout the day and depends on the light. It looks very sharp with the light gray leather interior.

Got mine last week, the color is great, Depending on what time of day it is, the color varies from gray to a metallic plum color. Very cool. I have the Black with red highlights leather package, the interior is sweet. I'd say go for it!

Does anyone have an Iridium graphite rogue with the leather interior?

My dealer has been looking for an iridium graphite with the black leather for a week, but has only found 2 within 1,000 miles, and both dealers laughed when he asked if they would be willing to trade. I am almost ready to settle for the gray leather, but I haven't seen how it looks with the Iridium. Anyone have any photos of iridium with either of the leather interiors?

YEAAAAA! Finally got my Rogue.

Iridium SL, AWD Premium Package, Black Cloth

Mine isn't as plum as the pics on the Nissan site look. It's more of a cocoa gray, but depending on the light it does have a little purple.I think it's a really sharp color.

I'll try to do a video of mine tomorrow if I can.

If anyone is on the hunt in SoCal, Joe the Internet sales manager at OC Nissan Irvine was really great to work with.

NO GO on post the vid here so posted it on my blog.I did it just for this forum since I told some of you guys I would.

So here's my Rogue Video.

exeunt, grab one if you can. I love the color! But Iridium is about the hardest color to find.

Ooppps, I'm not really a car person so... headlights are headlights to me and I didn't really notice them. I'll have to pay more attention next time I drive at night.

For a quick and simple video, you had me sold. I really like the car and watching it in action makes me want one more and more, I sure hope they get more in so we're all not competing over the same cars!

Hi! ok, so about the Iridium Graphite color...I bough this color thinking it was more of a "charcoal grey"...not knowing about the purple undertone. When I picked up my Rogue I was a bit shocked (and not in a good way!), but I drove off as I was caught up in the excitement...later I thought OMG, what is this color and how could I have picked the wrong one??? Lucky me... the next morning I called the dealership and they were willing to let me switch out into the Carbon Silver (Gotham Grey) color so that I would be totally happy. After stressing myself out to the "nth" degree....and to make a very long storey short....I spent the last 5 hours trying to decide which I now like better... and wanted to live with for the next several yrs. They parked the 2 Rogues side by side so I could compare the colors, and after all that....I stuck with the Iridium Graphite! The Carbon Silver looked so boring and plain next to this one! I absolutely love it and am now sooo happy I got this color (sort of by accident)! I am a girl btw...but even the young service guys thought this was the cooler color of the two! Hope that this helps anyone on the fence with their color choice!

Hey Sugar-J!I see you're in Edmonton too! Great story - and I'm glad you're happy with your choice now.

I specifically wanted the Iridium Graphite color because it was different. Back in April - there were no dealerships around in Alberta with that color in stock. One dealership told me I'd have to wait 2-3 months until the end of June or July to get one (likely because they wanted me to buy one of the other colors they had in the lot) but the next dealership I went to told me they could get it for me in 3 weeks by putting my name on a VIN when it arrived at port in Vancouver- which is exactly what they did and true to their promise - it took just under 3 weeks. I find in the shade or cloudy conditions it looks almost like a metallic milk chocolate; in the sunshine - it's definitely got the great mauve highlight. It's like a chameleon - which makes it unique.

I respect that everyone has their own opinions about color..... but 1/2 the vehicles around here are either silver or grey. Black looks awesome - but it's so hard to keep clean. Red and the blue are nice - but again not as different as the Iridiium. White was out of the question because I wouldn't want to blend in with the snow during the winter months. That's just an accident waiting to happen.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my color! Even when it's a bit dirty - it's not so noticable with the Iridium. The black leather interior is gorgeous too!

Thks for sharing your video 5star. I thought the intelli key allows you press the start button in the vehicle like the Lexus but it seems you must turn it like the regular key type, but without the key. One thing I'm not certain is this. Does the intelli key requires batteries? If so, what if the batteries run out?

The intellikey has a user replaceable lithium battery like those used in wrist watches. The battery should last about 3-5 years depending on use.
