The roads were finally dry enough this weekend to get "Iris" home from the car wash in town still mostly clean. Our place is 3 miles off paved roads.

I know there have been photos of this color, but I'm still very proud of my new ride. I haven't posted a picture before, so hope this works.

Oooh, how do you like that color? I saw it online and it almost looked purplish. I was interested in it prior to my purchase but now I kind of feel happier about my Gotham Gray. Not that it looks bad, mind you, but I think it would be hard to determine the color from a distance. A friend of mine saw one and said it looked kind of brown. Wikipedia says Iriduim is a yellowish mineral. Is it kind of a tawny gray then? Yours looks more like a ruddy gray.

The Iridum Graphite color has a chameleon look to it. Depending on lighting and angle it turns shades of brown, deep purple, dark grey and everything in between. It's definitely unique and does not appeal to everyone. I chose this color since I wanted something different and I already did blue, black, and silver.

I've also noticed with mine that it tends to look a lot more purple in pictures than it really is.

i LOVE the ig color. i wouldn't have had a rogue in any other hue. at all.

sometimes it does have a brown tint to it which im not fond of, but i've grown to accept it. i wanted a graphite and gotham just was not doing it for me. i dont mind the purpleish look either. i actually like it. and ig does photograph more purple than it really is for some reason.
