you bet there is..got some buddys in the box rite now..telling me how many times he gets thank's on a dayly basis...our men and women overthere have done amazing things..my hat is off to each and everyone of them..may they all make it home safly.

P.S. how come the {insert laghing and chuckling here} news..seems to never report this?..must be becouse the dems wone..now its a non issue.

Idk. My buddy Stephen tells me stories all the time of patrolling in Baghdad to cheers, and having children come up and hug them. I've never, ever read that in the news. From what he tells me, the Kurds who get a semi negative spin from the media actually helped us a good deal in the occupation, and from my understanding, are one of the main reasons it is going so well. I wish equal time was given to the good news from Iraq. Maybe then people without friends over there could know what really goes on,.

thats one of the issues here in the states..there are now 3 political partys..dems..republicans..and the news media...sad to say that real reporting seems to be a lost art with these folks..its to the point they dont even hide there point of views anymore to appear objective...if there were more news shows like fox..with bothsides..then i might say there is a chance for our men and women over there to get a fair shake...but dont be descouraged of your in the box now..becouse HISTORY will remeber your victory...even under the scrutiny of the windbags on the hill.
