IR DVD system

I have a 2008 QX56 and want to get headphones for the dvd system. My question is can I use IR (wireless) headphones. My screen in the rear has a headphone jack that works. How do I find out if the system is IR friendly?Thanks

the factory system uses IR phones.

if you have the factory (not a Myron & Davis or other 3rd party system) system, do you not have headphones?

the mini jack, if its the factory system, should work with wired phones.

im a bit confused as to what you are asking as it seems you are answering your own questions..

Truck came with no headphones and I want to know if I can use wireless headphones with the factory DVD system. Saw them online and did not want to waste time and money if they don't work. Thanks
