Is anyone using this adaptor for your iPod video? http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCa...57270Basically I want to know if it will reach out far enough. Otherwise does any one know of another solution for an iPod video that has FM ability, charging, and keeps the iPod in one place? Not a wire allowing you to just set the iPod down somewhere.

I think the issue is that no one is going to use an FM transmitter in a car that can already accept a much more high quality 3.5mm jack straight into the headunit. I can understand the want for something that will charge and keep it in one place, but FM transmitters are a pain and make no sense if you have a much better means of input.

My brother has one on his Focus...I would think that it would fit in the power slot in the dash...but that's just a guess on my part.

You have a point. I was just trying to get the whole package. The power, additional button controls, and the FM. If you configure the FM right it can be pretty decent. I think I'l just look for a stand solution.
