Ipod USA-Spec and sirus radio

Gents,
I have a 07 m35 base model and I had the usa spec ipod integration installed about yr ago. Been streaming XM radio through my phone with the aux jack I had installed along with the ipod integration unit. Now my question is how can I get satellite radio without buying a any other hardware just, do have to xm give them my vin number. I already tried to get to the channel 0 but since I have the ipod hooked to it it doesn't give me the satellite radio info. Kinda confused I don't even know if its possible might have to buy some more hardware?

do you have an xm receiver in the trunk. It should installed just on top of the amplifier. You will see an empty bay where the receiver would sit.

If it is there, you need the radio code number - it should show up on your display i can not remember how to find it. Good luck
