So I have a 2008 G35s with the navi system. I have an Ipod nano classic that works great with my factory plug. At any rate I bought an Ipod touch a few months ago and it worked great (though didn't charge) through the factory plug.

Then after a couple weeks of using it it would play for a few seconds maybe up to a minute of a song then cut out and stop responding I would have to unplug then re-plug and it would work again but only for a limited time. Tried a hard restart on the thing etc with no luck.

I figured it was the Ipod I returned it got a new one it worked great for a while then it too did the same thing. Then I bought an adapter (so it could charge) and it started working great again for maybe a month. Now the damned system doesn't even recognize the touch is plugged it (with or without adapter) I have hard restarted the thing several times. and that doesn't work. but the Ipod classic nano has worked every time.

any ideas?

Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

The 08's don't have the proper software update to work with the new generations of iPod's.
