I just bought a new 2011 Infiniti and had a question about iPod touch integration through the iPod USB cable link-up... I can't for the life of me figure out how to play a playlist or album on "shuffle" from the car interface when I have an iPod touch connected. I see "Shuffle Off" on the car's screen when it's playing, but it's not a button I can hit to activate shuffle. I can't activate it on the iPod either because the the screen just shows "Accessory Connected." I know it's different with an iPod Classic or Nano because there's a "Shuffle" mode you actually enable or disable in the settings menu on the iPod. The Touch is different because "Shuffle" always appears at the top of the playlist or album. Is there a button I'm not seeing? Has anybody else run into this issue? I'd really appreciate the help... Thanks!!

I'm pretty sure this pertains to all newer Infiniti models and even a lot of newer Nissans now, so the answer would be universal. Just wanted to explain my reasoning for posting it in the general forums. :)

Nevermind, figured it out! I thought I'd post it here in case anybody else runs into the same problem in the future.

I finally found it in my owner's manual, and if you push the "RDM / RPT" button next to the volume knob (near the clock), it'll cycle through about seven different types of shuffle and repeat modes. Hitting it three times will cycle through the "repeat" options and get you to "Shuffle Songs." Then pressing it a few more times will go through shuffling albums, enabling both repeat and shuffle, and eventually back to "Shuffle Off, Repeat Off." I must have completely overlooked this button when I was trying to figure it out.
