I'm picking my my Blue Onyx Versa S today. I am interested in having an iPod ready deck installed in it, but I can't seem to find any that fit. Has anyone here had luck with a certain deck?

The Alpine decks that have the IPOD full speed integration are fantastic!

Does this deck help with the dangling cord issue? My Ipod and Radar detector cords have started to battle........

there is a connector that you have to plug into your Ipod, if it were mine, I would just plug the Ipod in and leave it in the lil holder above the stereo when you get the kit, because you can control your Ipod off of the stereo deck.

it was a better deal than i could get around here. everyone had to order them one piece at a time and it was gonna cost about 20% more than ebay with the shipping included. i have used kenwood exclusively for about 10 years now. i love not having to mess with the ipod at all. i have it mounted in the glove box.

I have the Alpine double din with touchscreen and iPod integration. I love it. The fullspeed is a GREAT improvement over the last one I had.

I had my headunit installed installed before kits were available. I really need to get one now.

No need really to waste the money, you will be paying around $20 for one little piece of plastic that you will use. But yea they are great that is why I recommended it!

If they dont have it yet, they will develop an interface to integrate the stock controls to the aftermarket headunit.

I'm not too much of a fan of the iPod interfaces. They make it much easier but they don't work as well as the iPod itself. I, personally, enjoy just using my iPod through the AUX input.

I have an S, so no AUX port for me. I could get a stereo w/an AUX port, though.

Yeah, I have a Kenwood DPX-301 with an AUX port, 1000000 times better than an FM transmitter.

How did you get an AUX port? I have an 701 and I got a USB port. It works for me because my mp3 player is USB, but I don't have an option to switch to an iPod.

It's in the back, not the front. In fact, your HU has both the USB input and an AUX input in the back.

Take a look:http://www.sonicelectronix.com...=7192

One set of the dangling RCAs is an AUX input and the other is a third preamp output. You can actually always buy an adapter that will fit all current Kenwood recievers to make an AUX input. So you have the option of two AUX inputs and a USB input. Hopefully this has given you some more options.
