Is there any way to adapt an older iPod (2nd gen) so the bluetooth will pair. Trying to avoid the hard wire into aux issue...thanx

I'm not sure what protocol the Nissan bluetooth requires, but here is a listing of supported profiles from Apple:

You should be able to find out which ones your Nissan supports.

Of course, the big test is: have you tried to pair it? Will the iPod pair with anything else (like a headset) - to determine if it's the car or the device not connecting?
