ipod or mp3 player recommendations

hey guys,

sad as it sounds, I've never owned an ipod or mp3 player. I'd like to get one to plug into my Aux audio jack in my AC's Bose system...

Any recommendations as to whats the easiest to use when in the car?

I was thinking an ipod touch, but want to get your suggestions first. Also, if you recommend an ipod or an ipod touch-- or any other mp3 player for that matter please let me know what generation you'd recommend. I hear there are quality/technical differences between each gen...

I have a crapload of music and would want an mp3 player with 32gig+

i would go with an ipod classic.....the touch is too hard to operate without looking down at it.

Really? Why is the touch harder to work in the car than a classic?

because the classic has the click wheel and you know where your finger is on the wheel at all times, so you dont have to look down from the road.....the touch is a little harder to operate without looking down at it.
