iPOD Not Connected

2009 G37Journey w/ Nav etc

ipod is completely plugged in.I have disconnected and reconnected

is there an easy solution, that I am not seeing?

What gen Ipod? Did it work before? Is it charged and updated?

Happens to me too... I will be listening to it and all of a suddun it disco's on me. I try unplug/plug back in nothing. On mine the iPod itself is locking up. When I have it out it does not respond to any manual inputs. I plug it back in and turn the car off/on and it works again? Had the car for 6 months now and it has happened 4-5 times.

Sorry I don't have an answer but maybe you can try the on/off thing if you haven't already.

When I bought the car it didn't have the iPod plug so I b****ed at the salesman and he got me one. When I got home and went through the trunk I found the one that came with the car...

I'm guessing I will be needing it to fix this problem in the future.

mine seemed to be working better once I got it chargedhasnt happend in a while

i knew it would be something simple
