Hey Guys,

Another question...I leave my IPOD connected at all times, I NEVER disconnect it, why is it that the system (after starting the vehicle) always pops-up the window "IPOD is disconected," I the have to disconnect my IPOD and reconnect it, in order for the system to recognise the IPOD...this is getting old...is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I have always had the same problem and Infiniti told me it was my iPod (which I know it is not). I have to rig it - I have to have the iPod disconnected, but on and playing, and then connect it. The car will then recognize it and I can switch sources just fine. I have never been able to fix this - if anyone has a thought, I too and troubled (and unfortunately ... no thanks to Infiniti). You aren't alone!

Also though, if you leave the iPod on (from the iPod unit itself) when the car if off, it will drain your iPod battery. The car doesn't charge it when the car isn't on. At least mine is that way ....
