I recently purchased an ipod/iphone xm radio dock and after inserting it into my 12V adapter it seems like the inside metal rim of the 12V adapter is loose. Is this normal? It's really minor but bothers me a bit because my iphone keeps shifting around.Just wondering if I should mention it to my dealer or not. Let me know what you think!

Thanks.

I would while still under warranty, mention EVERYTHING out of the ordinary no matter how small while they can fix it for FREE.

Interesting you mention this, my 12V outlet has always been quite loose. My Sat radio often loses power momentarily because the plug doesn't sit snuggling in the outlet. I never gave it much thought until you brought it up, but I imagine a replacement would be the same, perhaps just a bit of a weak design?
