ipod interface

the "other" forum has someone going in on tuesday to get the factory ipod interface installed on his 2008 sedan with the factory nav system....he was told, in person, by his service department that the install would be no problem as long as the car was manufactured after 04/07 and it had factory XM....we're just waiting to see what happens...ill keep you all updated.

ok so i know the mods of this forum dont like links to the "other" forum, but i think this link is helpful to those thinking about buying an aftermarket ipod interface off ebay, and whether it will work or not.

someone who has the Nav system stereo is going to his dealership today to get the factory ipod interface installed in his car....ill post the link when he posts with his review and pics.

well since noone seems interested about this topic than noone will be disapointed when i say it has been confirmed that someone with the nav system went to their dealership to get the factory ipod interface installed and after getting the install done, and it failing, they concluded that the ipod interface will infact NOT work with nav systems. There are aftermarket solutions that have been installed and proven to work on systems WITHOUT the nav system, but we will know in the next few weeks whether they will work on nav systems as well.

Looks like there isn't much solution for an aftermarket iPod interface in the Nissan with Nav system. but you could install this http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...eX-10.
