iPod interface?

Dave - I see you love your ipod gateway. It is exactly what I was looking for...one question - do you or anyone else know if the iPhone also works through the gateway. I've seen other products that allow you to use the phone as well.

hmmmm...I "think" it'll work with the iPhone, but I'm not sure. I have an older Nano and it works perfectly. I think the iPhone and Nano have the same connector so I would guess that it would work, but with the phone thing any everything I'm not sure if that would jazz up the system or not. Best to check with the parts company. You'll see the link to where I bought it somewhere in the postings above...they're great on the phone so I'm sure they can answer your question. If you get an answer post it here, I'm considering an iTouch, and would like to know if that would work or not, pretty much the same as the iPhone.

I called and they said they it should work. I went ahead and ordered it - so I'll let you know if it actually works once I get it installed.

Can the iPhone connect through Bluetooth? If so, can it play music through the Bluetooth connection? I always wondered about that. That would seem to make sense.

There are only a couple of MP3 players which support Bluetooth (and Bluetooth stereo is not part of the original Bluetooth spec), so tough to test.

any dealer can get it for you for that price w/o any shipping cost it should cost around $300.00 installed at the dealer and it goes with your factory warranty if you buy it from nissan and they install it. and you can use all your steering wheel controls on your i-pod

so you can actually buy the iPod Interface from the dealership and theyll install it for you??

also does all the song info and stuff show up on the nav screen with the ipod interface?
