I'm looking for an ipod interface to use with the stock head unit in my '08 coupe. I tried the search, but I didn't come up with a definitive part number to look for. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There really isn't one that exists right now...

Really? I did a google search and I got a few hits, but all were different brands. I figured there must be an OEM one out there.

http://www.nissanusa.com/altim....htmlNissan sells one for the non-navigation Altimas. If you don't want to purchase it from the dealership, just go to a dealership and ask to see the package and ask for the part number. Then just go home and order it online!

I think I found the proper part numbers - the module itself looks like it should be 999U7-ST002 and the cable should be 999U7-VT000. Can anyone confirm that?

http://www.icarkits.com/produc...=3417

at the bottom of the page this is what icarkits writes....

Important Notes:

• Radio must have a "SAT" button or have "CH", "CHANNEL", "CAT" or "CATEGORY" printed somewhere on the face of the radio. This usually located near the Tune or Seek buttons.

hopefully this helps, I haven't bought this item yet, but plan on it.

I'm actually looking for the Nissan OEM adapter. I just have the base 6 speaker radio - no sat, no nav, no bose.

I found out (the hard way) that the adapter doesn't work unless you have sat radio. I'm waiting on the vendor I bought from to see if they'll take it back. If not, I'll have an ipod adapter for sale .
