Alright, that makes sense they probably took it out so no one would steal it, due to all the test drives.
When I sat down to discuss the details about the car they gave me a sheet of Environmental protection options that I could get on the car when it arrived at the dealership. I will display the option and price belowwith the description of the product offered. I guess I am leary on some of the options and whether I would need them or not. I was thinking that someone in here might have gotten the same information. The options are:
Paint Guard ($395.00)
The ultimate paint and chrome sealant that keeps you car looking showroom bright, not wax or polish, but a special chemical formulation applied to the finish of your car. Paint Guard's bonding action literally fuses to the surface locking in the luster and shine, while shutting out the sun, rain, salt, detergents, chemicals and other harmful pollutants that may ha)rer against the stainsourm the appearance of your car.
Interior Guard ($300.00)
Protects your car's interior (fabric, velour) with an invisible barrier against the stains of milk, coffee, soda, road grime; including 60% longer wear due to increased tensile strength against wear and abrasion in addition, if your car has leather and vinyl surface, we will include vinyl and leather guard with no additional charge.
Dura Shield Clear 3-piece Bra and Mirrors ($695.00)
Protects your car against rock chips without sacrificing the appearance.
All season Floor Matts ($98.00)
The dealership said that they would give me all these options together for $1000.00. I will definitely get the Dura shield 3 piece bra but I'm not to confident about the other options and whether I would need them or not.
I was also offered:
for 3 years/ 36,000 miles I would recieve 12 oil changes every 3,000 miles @ $756.00 or I could do the 3 years/ 37,500 miles which would give me 12 oil changes every 3750 miles @ $688.00. These oil changes would include:
- Tire rotation every other visit- 15 point car inspection- Complete Brake inspection- Air condition and cooling system inspection- Free exterior car wash and interior vacuum- Discount coupons on Accessories and service- Emergency towing Nationwide 24/7- Complimentary Membership in Cross Country Motor Club- $500.00 coupon toward your next vehicle purchase or lease
I am wondering if these are good options to go with or if they are options that allow the dealership to make more money off the consumer. Has anyone gone with any of these options and were they worth it?
