Ipod integration

Hey guys! I am picking up my 2003 M45 this weekend and I can't wait to mod it already! Actually, all I wanted to do was add Ipod to the sound system. I found this online, http://www.gnetcanada.com/navv...20M45

Has anyone had any experience with this? I want to be able to control the Ipod from the steering wheel and have the track titles show up on the screen. Thanks!

That product looks like it will work fine. Are you planning on doing the instillation your self?

Hey thanks! I just picked it up today! I was thinking about putting it in myself. I did it once before with the Monster Cable iCruze on my Acura. It took me only half an hour to do, so I expect to be able to do it myself. I assume that if I did a search on this site there would be instructions on how to take apart the center console.

Sounds good. I'm not sure about the instructions on taking the dash apart. I know that is going to be a Pain In The Butt.

same type, other brand on e-bay goes for 199.00. maybe you can find it cheaper.

Uhhgg! After doing some internet research, I found out that product only puts video onto the screen and you have to find another way of adding audio to the system. What I really want is some type of ipod to factory radio connection, but it appears us M45 owners are out of luck. Oh well, I guess I'll have to make do with a cassette adapter.
