Yes, your right. You are much better off investing in a much better aftermarket system.76er wrote:do you think the nissan dealership would be able to incorporate the 2010 a/c audio system into a 2009?
Granted i'm sure it would cost an arm and leg from them.
The PAC module? Little blue one? Simple soldering, hooked up, programmed. Works great here with my Pioneer unit. I've heard some horror stories though lol.adidas2go wrote:

Did you buy it from the dealership? Self install?boystar22 wrote:The factory iPod adapter works just fine in my car, I don't know why everyone always thinks it doesn't and you have to go aftermarket. If you have the regular cd headunit or the bose changer (non-nav) Nissan sells an iPod connection kit that runs it through the xm input. Songs show up on the screen and you can change them on the wheel. It was under $200 and well worth it.
Tapping into input wires, soldering in resistors, and programming....QR25DE wrote:

The price was good, and they shipped it really quick, good seller. It just plugs into the harness on the back of the radio and you attach the box somewhere up in the dash so it doesn't rattle around. The iPod cord is supposed to be routed to the glovebox so you can lock it in there, but I ran mine into the cubby hole. It plays through the xm function of the headunit, if you have xm already it switches over the ipod when you plug it in, and when you unplug it, it will change back to xm. If you don't have xm (like me) it just says "no ipod" on the screen until you change the source back to the radio or cd.
That's it. If you order it be sure to give them your vin number, because there are two part numbers for it and they initially sent me the incorrect one. They were very good though, and shipped the other with a return UPS label so I could send the first one back.76er wrote:
