When I bought my '91 S13 hatch, the previous owner had removed the stock antenna and shaved the quarter-pannel. Although it looks nice, I can't get anything on my radio except an occasional signal. Since I only really listen to my ipod, I was wondering if there was any way I could "hook-up" my ipod to the car and have it function perfectly without an antenna. I do have a ipod-cassette adapter...unfortunatly my cassette player doesn't work (it won't "eat" or accept the cassette). So if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. Thanks

I guess I should just ask; will my ipod work if I buy an aftermarket radio with an aux/usb ipod adapter even though I don't have an antenna? will it work just the same..?

It will definitely work for the ipod but your radio will be the same or worse without an antenna.

thanks! that's all I needed to know. so long as my ipod can function perfectly in my car without an antenna...I'm a happy camper. That being said, should I burn ~$80-200 on an aftermarket radio just so I can hook up my ipod...or is there another way?

that's brilliant. are you sure it'll work? (also to ground, can i just run the wire to a bolt and screw it to the chassis or is there a proper way?)

i forgot to ask, which wire is the ground wire? since i never had an antenna i wasnt sure with the 240sx. theres a socket connector located in the rear left (near the rear left sidemarker) that has 7 different wires going into it, some are blue or mixed with blue, ones green and another is red. there are also 2 black wires. coming out of the same harness, there is a smaller socket connector w/ only 2 wires. overall, i dont know which one to cut and ground.
