I have an 06 M35 sport w/ tech package. the only screen for viewing Nav, DVD or otherwise is in my dash. on the back of my center console there is a pop out aux input.........i tried to use a "Y"a adapter for my ipod so i can listen to it, but i get no sound or anything. It doesn't even acknowledge that my ipod is plugged in.

I have already done a search on here for a solution, so please dont suggest that. All i can find is ppl saying that they plug their ipod in (which i think is the same place) and it works. If there is a way to get the stereo to AUX mode.....i dont know how.

any help would be appreciated, and thanks.

towards the bottom of the page are the wires that work, see if they look the same. after plugging in use the source button to switch to the AUX imput. The car won't "recognize" the ipod, the music just starts playing. Make sure you have the Ipod volume up and adjust the car volume as needed.

I see what your saying, and i read the other post. I am pretty sure that i have tried that. Cycled through the diff sourves w/ the steering wheel button. So, should it be set to DVD? B/C i do not have an "AUX" option. Is there somrthing that i have to change in the settings menu somehow??

Thanks again!!!
