Ipod for your Versa

So I installed the sony receiver today.

I got it from crutchfield and I have nothing but praise for them. I ordered it monday and I got it today. They included everything from the harnesses, to the versa kit to the antenna adapter. Basically everything you need to get it to work (you have to pay extras for these items if you buy them someplace else eg circuitcity).

The ipod control works as advertised.

One small thing that turned my installation from a 2 hr installation to a 4 hr one. It was cos I didnt push the antenna plug all the way into the unit....and that caused it not to power up. Spent 2 hr troubleshooting.

I'm wondering if the sony receiver interfer with the bluetooth. If not, I'm interested in getting one.

hmmm...i don't know....but if it means anything, I didnt come across anyone with bluetooth interference when I was reading the reviews at crutchfield.

From what I can tell, there should be no reason for bluetooth interference because it's all wired together. I've got my iPod adapter from the dealership and have had no problems at all.

"Because it's all wired together" is exactly the reason it might "interefere with" (although a better word would be "disable") the bluetooth.

Your BT controls for the factory stereo, for those with the convenience package, are mounted on the left side of the steering wheel. There are also controls here, many of which are the same buttons, that control the stereo.

Has anyone with the convenience package actually changed out their stereo? If so, did the BT work afterwards?
