iPod for G35

Can the sat aux be used for an ipod? If so.....well you know the rest.

I don't have the factory wired xm in my 2003 g 35 sedan, and no sat button. Can I wire a ipod into the factory stereo? I have heard about someone doing it with the 6th disc button on the cd changer. Does any one know how to do this?
