iPod control?

Sure wish I had more control over my iPod than just on and off, etc. The 2008 G35x Quick Reference Guide says it's there using the L & R arrows while in the iPod but it does nothing Has anyone figured it out?Gary

Not sure what you are asking, but I have the 08x and I just plugged mine in and it worked through the dash. While plugged in the iPod is only playable through the dash, I can't use the iPod to change the songs or watch videos, have to use the dash or buttons on the wheel. Do you have the Nav, or non-Nav?

I have the non Nav. I can start/ stop, pause etc. but I don't have any control over FF and Rew. Do you?G.

I have the Nav, but I think its the same. The button the the steering wheel that has the 'enter' button on it, I flick it down to go to the next track, and up to the previous track.



You can also change it on here, down goes to the next track and up to the previous. Hold the desired button to seek.



Some screens don't allow you to change the song. I usually leave mine on status screen.

Thanks!!! It works great. The Seek/Track buttons aren't mentioned in the manual...at least that I can see.I listen to a lot of talk podcasts that are sometimes 1 or 2 hours long so being able to RW and FF is important to me.Thanks also for the photos. I really appreciate it. Cheers!Gary

No problem. It took me a bit to figure out the seek also. I listen to some pretty long podcasts as well. Glad to help!
