Does anyone know whether the iPod connector sold with the 2010 Murano has a digital or an analog connection? Apparently the difference matters for compatibility of other things that you might be able to connect via the 30-pin connector.

I'm sorry as I do not have the answer but hope to add to your question to help in its visibility.

Would this iPod connector be compatible to a 2004 MO? My darling wife wants a better connection for her iPod than a radio frequency. The 2004 MO has a SAT button if one installs the satellite radio. M wondering if there is an easy way to hook the iPod into the SAT connection. What would I purchase to do this.

If only you could type something in a box somewhere to search for answers to questions.

If it is a 3.5mm aux connector then the signal is analog. My Q70L doesn't have an analog input so I use USB to transfer digital signal to the head unit. In my opinion reducing transfer loss is always a better option.
