ipod and bluetooth

I've been looking for a direct ipod link solution for my 2006 M35 which does not have the DVD entertainment center which apparently would have the aux input needed. I'm not worried about control of the ipod; I just want better sound and no static. I've used the FM transmitters before and it's a pain as I'm sure you all know. Does anyone have any experience with or recommendations on a bluetooth solution for streaming ipod music to the car stereo? There seem to be some products out there to do this but I'm not sure how they'd interface with the car.
