Most of the Versa's competitors have fairly good iPod connectivity, but the Versa only allows for an aux input to the stereo. That does work, but it would be great to know that there are more complete solutions available.
I too am looking at this... Google turned this up...
Quote »Ben I read on another forum that the Fosgate radios in the NIssan control the iPODS, all it take is a adaptor that plugs in behind the radio. Since the radio in the Versa SL has all the same 'controls' as last years Fosgate radios I was just wondering if Nissan has a adaptor too.
This quote is from Fresh AlloyThe upgraded audio system comprises of a Rockford Fosgate branded head unit (est. 100 watts), integrated satellite radio controls, MP3/WMA capable , in dash 6-disc CD Player, subwoofer speaker, and auxiliary input for iPod or other audio player. It's too bad Nissan didn't spring for true iPod integration.[/quote]We are still looking to see if there are any ready made adaptor. I use an iTrip2 on all my cars, it works quite well. even around the Washington DC Metro area.
