iPod adapter

Just curious... do you need the satellite radio option in order to install the adapter?? I have the SL model with the 6 disk, I want to install my iPod like I had in my Xterra (hidden away but still accessible).

I dont have satellite radio, but I was at the dealership yesterday and checked out the SL with satellite and the radio looked exactly like mine... If I cant install it, I will just swap the stereo for my Alpine with iPod controls

As long as you have the 6 disk head unit, you can do it.

The one caution I give to people is that the controls are extremely odd to get to all of the functionality of the iPod. If you're used to the controls on the Alpine, you'll save a lot of headache by replacing your head unit (and the money for the adapter).
