yeah ill definitely do that by the end of the week. i was reading about it and it goes through FM where as the otw i found went directly into the deck. i know for sure the sound through FM will not be nearly as good but ill still look into it.

I don't know if either of the two links you posted with with the Bose stereo. They might only be compatible with the base (non-Bose) deck. Be careful before you spend that kind of money, or make sure they have a legit return policy in case it doesn't work.

I never really investigated this option as I pulled my stereo the first chance I got.

Just trade it in for a 2010 SR! Oh..

You'll want something that goes directly into the deck or uses the aux cable, the FM transmitters are kind of iffy.

One of those links you sent is the official Nissan iPod interface - I think you would need the unit and the J harness for the bose system (as it has the sat). That one is a pretty complicated install, you have to tear open the entire center console and drill a hole into the center console armrest area. If you are comfortable with that go for it! It will provide the best integration as it is Nissan OEM. I would also potentially ask the dealership about it - they may want to charge a ton to install it, but you wouldn't void a warranty or have to worry about installing it yourself. I have no idea what it would run.
