Does anyone know if someone makes an IPod adapter for my 2005 QX56? I have a SAT output that I'm not uusing. Can I use this output and if so, does it sound as clear as a regular radio station?

Welcome to NICOclub! Cheers from the Armada/QX56 Forum!

Yes, you can purchase an interface made by Nissan. All the components are available from http://www.courtesyparts.com

I appreciate it. Does it give you CD quality?

I believe it is actually better than CD quality.

Did you call them and ask? Courtesy Parts would certainly know if there is something available.

Nothing beats the CD quality, i don't think.

I used to have an expensive transmitter, waste of money. Yet the $10 transmitter at cvs was strong enough to broadcast to the car it was next to.

I actually have the same question. I can't understand why my 2004 QX56 does not have an AUX outlet to use for my ipod! What's up with that? I can't stand the Griffin Converter that I have because I pick up everything else except what's on my ipod! Is it worth just getting the AUX hard wired?
