I'm sure this is probably well known here, but I sure don't. Is there a built in plug for and IPOD on the factory radio for the 04 Altima? If not, is there an adapter out there that is relatively non-invasive? thanks in advance...

Whoa slow down. I hope you have a BOSE system. From what I've read those units are only supported by the BOSE systems. If you have the standard audio system you might not be in such good luck. Here's what I'm working on.http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...83763

http://autosportstyle.com/shop....html I have access to a dealer account with PAC and I can sell these for $75+shipping to you or anyone needs one.

Thats how I plan on installing mine.

The top one is called the harmon kardon drive + play. This will give you the ability to control the iPod. It's only about $80. It supports direct connect FM modulation, wireless FM modulation, and Direct Connect Aux Audio. Has a spare headphone jack for a supplemental audio in. The bottom harness gives your factory radio an aux input, it does this by tricking your factory radio into thinking it has a cd changer. From the research I've done so far this is the most effective and useful method of implementing an iPod into an Altima. It's fairly discrete. The only thing you see is the 2.5" wide screen and the 1.5" wide knob. You can put it anywhere you want. What appears to be a large module can be hidden behind the dash with zip ties. I'll document my entire install. Once I figure out where to put everything.
