Triple-B...

I believe there is a hack for this. Give me a day or so and I'll see what I can come up with.

Is there a link for instructions to remove the stock head unit from the dash?

Cheers,

OK, there is a few options out there...

Note: Member Pine hacked his CD changer for his iPod: zerothread?id=139438

1) Use a tape adapter2) Use an FM modulator (Audiovox is one manufacturer that I know of)

If you use the tape adapter (cassette tape with wired output), make sure you use a dock as the headphone connection seems to be lower quality. The FM modulator has had complaints of static and ringing. Of course, there are a lot of adapters for Bose on the market, but they only support 98+ models.

Finally, there is a way to add an aux input for the 95 Bose. I can pass you a link for this if you want to go this route. Here is a pic of the Bose internals with the wires if interested:http://img206.imageshack.us/im...p.jpg

The internal Bose head unit mod is the one for me, I have been in my past life an electronics tech...so the solder etc stuff is a piece of cake for me.

Please tell me what I need to do.

Thanks so much....I very much appreciate the help. ..as always these forums have a wealth of information due to the hard work of guys like you!!!!!

Cheers,

Ben

Here is a pic of the back of my Bose head unit. Can you tell me what the black 6 pin Din like connector is for...is that for the 6 disc CD changer option...which I don't have BTW.

Is it possible to tie the iPod into this port?

Ben

Yes, that DIN plug is for the CD changer. People have tried to tie directly into that plug, but have failed as far as I know.

I sent you an eMail with more detailed info. I hope this helps you. If it works out, let us know. Heck, you can do your own write-up for our how-to section

FWIW, I will also look through and see if I can find the pinout for the DIN connector as well.

EDIT: It was in the eMail I sent you:http://carstereohelp.net/wireharness_Nissan2.htm
