I upgraded my iPhone to iOS4. Now when people call, their custom ringtone plays over the car stereo!!!
I haven't checked to see if Texts and Push alerts sound on the car stereo yet! I will report back later.

Have they altered (or updated) the bluetooth protocals?
I would not expect the car to support push alerts or many other control other than basic BT connectivity.
Did Apple finally add the ability to transfer phonebooks? According to the Infiniti website they do not really do a whole lot. I am polling this and the M forum currently (seems like the G might be next) to get as much info on this as possible, any help would be appreciated.

I didn't try to transfer the phonebook as my phonebook in the car was already setup manually and I'm afraid that transferring my phonebook may erase the work I've done!

Interesting, I noticed that my phone ring tone was not playing through the speakers of my Armada since I upgraded to iOS4. I didn't even think to try transferring the phone book or the contacts, I will have to try that.

dont waste your time unless you want to transfer every 3 or so days. there is a bug in the way apple does their bluetooth so that your ijoke contact list will get scrambled after a time. thats just one of the reasons I moved to android and the evo 4 from the ijoke.
