Ok, another low blow. One of the few things I’ve enjoyed with the antiquated Q70 Bose system has been the Bluetooth streaming audio. From day 1, the steering wheel button has been able to change songs. Well, this stopped this week with IOS 13.6. I now get a “iPhone or Apple doesn’t work with this”(not exactly words, I’ll be going out to car this morning and get exact phrase) when I hit the button to change songs. Anyone else experience this?? Thanks for any help or particularly, condolences.

Yeah unfortunately this happens from time to time with iOS upgrades.

Thanks Ilya. Any potential solutions or recommended contacts??? A few years ago I lost all Bluetooth, contacted Apple and Infiniti, who blamed each other. 3 years ago a new Infiniti software upgrade (by CD) restored function in my M37. I am really concerned about this one

This is an Apple bug - I recommend reporting it to them so that they can fix it with the next iOS upgrade.

This is one of the benefits of going to the GROM VLine VL2 IMO. You no longer have to worry about Apple or Infiniti. GROM seems to be pretty steady with updates and I have no complaints (although others here do not share my glowing review sentiments). I got tired of issues with OEM BT as well since Infiniti is so far behind on technology even on their newer models (my wife's 2016 QX60 has A/V tech from like 2010).

Literally still dealing with this since the 2016 apple iOS 10 update that ruined everything. Just Last week I read on an Apple support forum that someone ordered the Navi maps update CDs which upgraded the software and solved the problem. It’s in the mail. Fingers crossed!

GOOD NEWS!! I don’t know if it was the new IOS update 13.6.1, or my uninstalling/ reinstalling my IPhone via Bluetooth 5-6 times, but amazingly it’s back to normal. Thanks for responses.

VIPER, I had the same thing with my previous M37, and the CD at the time (2017 for me) immediately fixed it. Good luck.

Thanks! Best thing I can hope for. Current situation: Got the DVDs. Sitting in the car with the engine on for the 82 minute update. Can’t wait to make 10 phone calls immediately after. Fingers crossed. Will close the bracket on this when it’s done!

OMG I think it worked. Just had my first convo since 2015 without the phone call breaking up and disconnecting the Bluetooth, almost causing me to crashing the car.

I’m calling everyone in the “handset phonebook” and the “vehicle phonebook” tomorrow!

I know your euphoria. Welcome to the 21st Century. Call away day and night (but don’t break that call button, I’ve replaced that piece before). Call everyone you know now, there’s a new IOS update in a few weeks (kidding). Congrats.
