So my friend has an iPhone application to place calls from any number he types in....anyone know the name?

He called me from 15 of my friends numbers, some of which live out of state....

Must be illegal....

It probably just changes the outbound caller ID in some way - probably by using it in a field that makes the network treat it as the origination calling number.

Same actual phone and line ... not those other lines. So, the charges still go to your friend regardless.

Road Trip is awesome. The lite version works perfectly, but I upgraded to the full version since it was only $5 and the only app I've felt deserved to be paid for.

Cydia is like the appstore except for the jailbroken iphones. I use cydia and the appstore on my iphone and cydia has some cool apps that are NOT available to non jailbraken phones.

Another game that's wasted at least a week of my life is Enigmo. It costs a bit, but completely worth it!

Mr. Aah is a very very fun game.

I also recommend "Crystal Defenders: Vanguard Storm" and "Sliding Heroes", both by Square-Enix.

Photoshop.com. Click the "new Photoshop app for iPhone users" link in the first paragraph of the article.http://news.cnet.com/8301-2707...ody.2

I'm also trying out a new (read re-released) game called Beneath a Steel Sky. It's an old Adventure game like the old LucasArts SCUM games, which were always me favorites. I still load up an emulator to play Sam & Max and Full Throttle on occassion. This re-release has a 4.5 star rating on iTunes and the review I read on Kotaku said the original was one of the most cherished adventure games of the early to mid 90s (wonder how I missed it back then!). The original format sounds like the original Kings Quest games where you typed in your commands to perform actions. The iPhone game uses touch context to function.
