iphone and the rca plug

i bought the rca plug so i can try to watch video from my iphone to the nav system but it didnt work all it plays is audio any help?

I think it only works if your in neutral. Might need the parking brake engaged too, not sure. Did you activate the display with the settings? They are buried somewhere down in there.

the car was in neutral and in park but the screen was black... wat do i gotta do with the settings of the display that ur talking about?

I read on another forum that the parking break was the trick.

How much was the RCA cable from Infiniti?

the car was with the parking break engaged but yea i bought the rcs plug at radio shack for like 20 or 25
