iPhone and 2008 M45

Has anyone had any luck using the iPhone with the Infiniti iPod kit? My car screen says iPod, but then I can't do anything with it. iPod works fine.

Had my iPod working and just went out and tried my iPhone... worked like a charm. Haven't tried it while driving, just with it on accessory, but could select an album, then track and song played without a hitch.
