Not sure if anyone answered this. But I have the Nissan Ipod connection in my 2010 murano. It does not charge my iphone. Anyone else have this issue?

Try this,
http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-33368- ... 689&sr=1-2

Old ipod's and 2G iphones allowed charging over the firewire pins in addition to the usb pins.
Apple dropped the firewire support with the 3G iphone and only the usb pins support charging...

First reply (Kensington) is not a resolution to the posters question. It doesn't connect to vehicles stereo.

Also, I just received the Schoche from Amazon. Still doesn't charge iPhone 4.

Looking for an answer still.

That is strange, I understand this is another option:

The CableJive ($23.00) from Amazon.com:

Bad news - Still doesn't charge iPhone 4 in Nissan Murano connecting to cable in center console. (Does still give iPhone control to car stereo though)

Good news - Using an old "Mini-USB" car charger to inject power into the side of the CableJive adapter does charge the phone at the same time.

Bottom line: CableJive requires a Mini-USB car charger but it will solve the problem. Don't expect to use your center console for much more than holding your phone and all the wires & adapters. :-)
