According to Nissan, the iPhone 4 supports "Phonebook Access" and should automatically upload its entire phonebook via bluetooth to the "2010 Altima with No Navigation System".

No way I can get it to work. Phone pairs OK and no error messages, but no contacts are uploaded and phonebook remains empty.

Any ideas? Anyone managed to get this to work?

Thanks!

Is your iPhone 4 updated to the latest iOS? If not this may be the issue. Check for updates via iTunes. If not, then who knows. :/

Thanks for the suggestion, but already tried that.

Also tried my phone on a friend's identical Altima, and his iPhone 4 on mine. All combinations of phone and car failed.

Has ANYBODY got this to work? Is it an iPhone 4 thing or a Nissan thing?

Driving me nuts.

I realize it's been about 3 months since you last posted here, but my iPhone 4 uploaded immediately the first time I tried when I bought the car. I am running version 4.3.5. You might try getting up to the latest system version if you aren't there and see if that helps if you're still having this issue.

Thanks for your interest.

No, still not working. I'm running 4.3.5.

I notice you have a 2012 Altima. Perhaps they changed the car software.
