iPhone 3Gs Bluetooth Compatability?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Does the iPhone 3Gs bluetooth sync with the EX? I'm having trouble getting the two to notice each other. Any advice would be great.

Thanks!

YES! It should sync fine. For whatever reason I had to search a few times before my Armada and 3GS found each other, but it finally worked. My Armada has the EXACT same Nav/Bluetooth set-up that your EX35 has.

pair or sync? The 3G will pair, but it will NOT sync the entire phonebook. So far I've only found one phone that will and that's my Moto Q9.

If you mean pair, it works just fine. I've got one. With the 3gs voice control don't know why you'd copy your phone book over to the car. The car phone book is superfluous.

Thank you for the replies -

I got it to work! I was reading an older thread about the iPhone and connecting it with the EX. Apparently, the iPhone likes to have Priority 1 in the priority list. So, what I had to do was delete my other phone (the one I don't use anymore) and then sync the iPhone - it was that easy.

Now I'm a happy camper. Thanks everyone.

What did you actually do to get all of your contact w/numbers transferred over?

Hi Timmbo -

I would love to say that I was able to sync all of my contacts with the EX, but unfortunately I cannot. I was referring to pairing my phone with the EX so I could have basic bluetooth functionality. I'll attempt to sync my phonebook with the EX and let everyone know how it goes.

Magic
