IPHONE 3G M45 Sport Problems

Hey, just found this cool forum . I just recently purchased a 2008 M45 Sport with Navi and ipod dock. When I first got it, I connected my Iphone via the dock and it worked perfectly (this is for music by the way), playlists and everything. After doing the iphone OS 2.2 update, the car no longer recognizes my iphone is connected. If I turn the entire radio and Nav off, disconnect then reconnect the iphone, it will find the iphone, but none of the music, it just reads "Song Not Found." Anybody else having this problem? I'd prefer to hit you guys up first before I speak with the dealer, because I don't have too much confidence in their skills. Appreciate the help, thanks.

Have you tried to turn on the airport mode? Just to check.

I have an 06 so unfortunately I do not have the iPod hookup. A good majority of members are 07 and earlier models but I'm sure somebody has some feedback for you.

I have a 2008 M35 Sport. I'm able to use my iPOD Touch 32GB with ver. 2.2 of the operating system (It is identical for both the iPhone and the Touch) on my car and it works fine. Have you tried rsingh's suggestion and put it into Airport mode to see if you can access your tunes?
