I don't think that they asked to see my license the last time I went to Beech Bend raceway.

However we are going to Clay City this time and I have never been there before.

I would no sugest that you drive from there to here without one.A Driving on a suspended ticket would suck!

I doubt anyone will ask for license on track. Also there arent any cops there to ticket you.If you wanna rbing your car sop u can drive it on the track you shouldnt get someone else to drive.

^that's what I would suggest you do. OR have someone trailer it down there for you. THey require you to have a valid licience, but rarely ask to see it.

Edogg,

Even if they want to drive some too, why not?

Also there are tons other fun things to do for a friend that you might bring.

We also have a few places for folks to stay overnite in various bachelor pads.

I'll definitely be down again Fred. I had alot of fun at the last meet and it'll be even funner since I'll be able to bring my own 240. I really wish I had drove my altima down.

Yes I think we should if we can get enough folks.

many wouldnt be ab;le to drive all the way here.

I definetly encourage you gusy to biuld your own local scene. The KY?IN scene started out with 5 guys meeting for first time in Aug 2002 and look how far we've gotten in a little over a year.

And even if your meets are only 6 cars who cars they can still be fun.

My suggestion would be to start your first planned meet when the weather is better in spring.

I would exhcnage phone numbers before that though via email.

That way when its Friday in December and you suddenly have great weather you can have what we call an insta-meet.

Which is call all your NICO buddies on real short notice and just hang out.Anything 4 cars or more is a meet

People should be able to make the drive. We drove the 8 hours to Indy for a meet. Why can't people do the other way around?

I will if I can take leave.

I think once u have a large established meets scene PPL will flock to your location.

For a big spring meet I think you guys should consider visiting us, but you should also have your own spring meet and some of us will attend.

Well I'll make it down, but the 1/4 mile raceway here is much better than IRP. Our race nights have better track prep than they did. I can't say much for the autocross since I didn't attend, but we have a go-cart track that is just like road racing when you auto-x on it. It's a fun course. I'd coordinate the meet around there event.

Hey, I'm in on this late, but I'm up for a meet. I live in KS, and I think Cedar rapids is only a few hours away from here. I personally would like it to be in late May or early June so that I don't have to worry about class. Plus I should have my suspension and wheels and tires done by then too.

E dogg - I don't have anything yet, but I'll probabally get some KYB AGX's, Whiteline springs and bushings, and some HKS/Cusco pillowball uppermounts.
