Hi Guys...

I have been surfing the forums for about a 1 year now. Just wanted to introduce myself to all the guys at Nico and thank you for all your assistance.

Knowledge in South Africa is limited on the Ca18Det but all S-13 200sx's here had one, We got the 4 port Euro models and I have only seen one 240sx here.

We also got S-14 with the Notch back Sr20 , I have posted some pic's of my set-up hope you enjoy..

Old Set-up (Was a work in progress)

Upgrade path

And you can never have to many Spares , luckily I got a complete Ca18det,

Thanks

Lol

We get the Ka24de in a nissan Hard body. But it looks nothing like the one from the 240sx. We only got the face-lifted 200SX no pig nose... We never got the red top SR20DET in any car only the black top

And a Full Ca18det with gearbox, wiring harness, ECU, Droping resister, igniter and all that will cost around R 5000 = $ 625 dollars

We also got the Ca18de with the JDM non Emission version, Also all the 4 port euro models here don't have CAT's or a lambda sensor.

But you guys are lucky you have E-bay the local guys rip us off big time here

If any of you guys need pic's of something to help with the ca18det conversions just ask

I just thought I would post some more pics

Spare Ca-18det

Damn Stock cooler (Dont know if you guys swap these in)

Poor little cam sprocket doing duty as a wedge.

Good Morning Guys....

Long time no update... .I blew the head gasket again. So now I'm going to build in some reliability..

You will not believe how unmatched the intake is to the head on the Ca18det.

Now its dremel time ....

I also got the Spares needed to do the rebuild...

Head Gasket compare... Stock Vs Cometic

I also got the head back, Fully redone new stem seals and seats... Full Port and polish, CC'ed and Combustion chambers done.

Combustion Chambers

Exhaust Port...

Intake port

Ported Intake manifold on new head

And finally a nice set of cut cams
