New to posting here, been reading here for a while tho. A little backround...I am originally from Central iowa, grew up driving honda's...had a 97 pelude and a 99 civic SI. I joined the air force when i was 20 and my first duty station was litterally in the suburbs of tokyo. It was f*** awesome. I got into drifting while i was there drove just about every JDM car you could immagine. I got home in fall 09 and have been saving some money up. Now im living in north dakota. Saturday i finally found the car i have been searching for. A 1 owner completely Stock 1995 240SX se in mint condition. I am working with a couple friends still in japan on getting a motor purchasd. 90% sure i am going NEO RB25det. Hereis a few pics on my car...

clean a efff!! but ive heard some downsides to the neo rb25. such as lack of special parts, that a guy in town hasnt informed me of. but he said the 300zx and q45 share alot of the same parts in the u.s. as the regular rb25.

I picked it up for $4500...thanks for that bit of info on the NEO, thats something i hadnt really looked into and i will deffinently be giving it some more thought.

Wow if the engine is in as good of condition as the rest of the car i would leave it. No sense removing a good motor. Drift it till it explodes and then replace it, you don't need bookoo power to slide. Nice ride, welcome to NICO.

Yea i totally agree with everything he said! Im driving mine til it dies then doing an RB swap hopefully! Gotta save money while waiting for it to die!

I'm going to daily it and save money and file my last 2 tax returns that ive been hoarding to buy all the stuff to hopefully build it this winter.

my 1999 civic si

my 1997 prelude SH...i didint put the body kit on it and i was in highschool so i thought it was cool.

MY favorite picture from japan...me with the class at an all girls school that i helped tech english to for a few days.

Nissan laurel with rb25 swap, back seat removed and drivers seat rail moved way back so i could go crazy in it at ebisu drift tracks. (i'm 6'11")
