Oops! Mods, can you move this into the introduction sticky. I must have hit "New Topic" by mistake.

Thanks!

Actually, with all the nice pictures in your post, I think I am going to leave it as a new thread! Gets more looked at!

Nice information ... and I know you will love your car for sure.

Thanks for the nice welcome. I really do enjoy getting in this car everyday. I loved my 2004 Maxima, but the M45 is making me forget about that car all together.

All Y34s are rare...though most I've seen are black, graphite, or silver. Red and green seem to be very rare.

Please tell me about the trunk mod. I have a spoiler and would like to install the mod. Thank you.

Trunk mod is easy. You do have to remove the rear seats, but all you need is a 10mm socket. Then from inside the car, with a stick propping up the trunk, unclip the old pistons and replace with the new ones one at a time.

Jason B will give you comprehensive instructions with the kit.

You will also gain access to the subwoofer if you plan on replacing that. I have a 10' sub laying around and I'd like to see if it makes any difference.

Y34 is the chassis code for the M45 in Japan. The Y34 in Japan came as a Cedric or Gloria...but did not have the 4.5 engine.

Yes. And same designation here in the US too. The new 2006+ M35 and M45 have a chassis code of Y50.

Yes. That is the chassis designator. Same as my car.
