Introduction/Story/Project Make Her Move! PIX!!!

Hey, i've been on the forums everyday now for quite sometime so i figured i should probably introduce myself. Anyways, my name is Tim im 18 yrs old n im still in high school. I got my Zenki last November about a week before my birthday it was KA-T'd and had lots of goodies basically i was the happiest person ever. As fate would have it the first day i got the car was the first day that it would snow here in central New York. This is what it looked like the day I first got the car. Sorry the picture is shaky like i said it was the first day it snowed. So i drove it through the weekend and then had to put it away for the winter months. I ended up taking out the timing chain guides and got new ball joints for it and a few other things and this is how it looked when I first got it out! After a nice clean, in my eyes she was beautiful i decided to name her Katy i thought it was witty because it was a KA-T and i just threw on a Y. Anyways, I rocked the car like that for a while and i loved it. I tried drifting with it with some people i met off of the forums in a parking lot that they knew of and these are a few pics of those fun days. Well all that fun lasted until i was on my way home from school one day and my car stalled and wouldn't start. I tried rolling it backwards because i was on a hill, as i was backing up i opened my door and as i was rolling back i moved to the other side of the road to try and get into a driveway. Thats when a car beeped at me i have ADD looked up and wasnt looking where i was going. Thats when my door hyper extended due to hitting a mailbox post. GREAAAAAT! So i decided it was time to finally make my baby beautiful like it was meant to be. This included a new drivers side fender and bumper from Keystone. My dad knew a body workin type a guy so he put them on and painted them and my hood. These pictures are from the beginning of last summer with one of my good friends who i converted into a 240 lover. Anyways, the car was running great and i was once again in love but you know a good thing is only good until it is gone and that is exactly what was about to happen. Was driving with one of my friends when i saw a whole bunch of smoke coming out of my exhaust. Now the car used to smoke when it was abused a little but this was like a smoke machine. I decided it was once again time to put her away and looked into what the problem could be. My dad and I decided that i cracked a piston. So....... Ironic because it was my car on my dads old flatbed.... But yeah i decided to start taking it apart stat.

Kept taking things off until i found! Fantastic! Being right never sucked so damn much. So i kicked around the idea of getting another KA and this and that and i finally decided that it would be better to just get an SR seeing as how they were made for boost and i'm looking for something that is fun but is also reliable. So i started saving money and the car sat like this for a few months. After a while i decided it was time to start on her again and after school one day me and my buddie decided to clean the engine bay. Now its not perfect but a hell of a lot better than it was when i had first gotten it. Next, i decided that i wanted to make my squeeky suspension not squeek anymore on my 14 year old car. So i started to tear the rear end of the car apart. [IMG] https://forum-attachments.sfo2.digital ... 38855[/IMG]I had already purchased the Energy Suspension bushing kit and decided that this was the perfect time to put all of the bushings in the car. I put all of the bushings in the car and i was waiting for replacement Camber/Toe/Traction bars because the old ones i could literally make clunk just by pushing up and down on the spherical rod ends. So i decided to order some parts that would make the suspension a little bit more solid now and my parts came in today. I know you guys will probably hate me for this but.... Yes i know if by chance BH looks at this he will probably tear me a new ***hole for buying Megan parts but honestly they are what i can afford. Also i noticed the rear brakes were not up to par so. Yey new rear brakes! Also after all that sliding last year i had wore down my tires to the steel braid so i had to throw the tires that came on the front of the car on the rear so i decided it would probably be good to get some new ones...For the back there 235/45/ZR17 Cooper Zeon tires

However, this is how the car sits right now. I took this picture today so i literally mean Right now lol.

Sorry for the long post but if anyone actually reads this i hope you enjoy it. I make progress slowly so i will keep everyone updated as i get more and more done.. also im glad i took all those pictures over the last year in preparation for this thread. Again, thanks for reading.
